If you talked about Longbridge to the majority of Midlanders, nearly all would associate it with being the home of Britain’s automotive industry. From Austin and the British Motor Company, to British Leyland and its final incarnation as MG Rover, the site has gone through many changes in the last 100 years. Even now, it’s retaining some of its heritage with the MG TF still in production at the site and the new MG6 on its way.
